Now enjoy some (weird) free music...
Here's the new track I said was forthcoming. It features Jordan Maxwell's terrific voice and messages, and was sampled from his appearances on The Alex Jones Show. Special thanks to you both, sirs.
My blog on the subject can be found here.

UPDATE! (08.02.08):Newly remastered version! If you downloaded it before this date, you got hosed! Try again for sonic thunder. :)
OHHH YEEAH! Inspired by (and many thanks to) Alex Jones of InfoWars.com, this tribute to Officer Jackboot was a true labor of love. All samples are taken from the original radio/internet broadcast and used by permission (at present, still implied, not expressed, but I am working on it). No, I am not being anti-police here; I am being anti-jackbooted-thug, as we ALL should be.
In any case, please enjoy the track. It took two weeks, Ableton Live and Audacity to achieve. ;)
UPDATE (7.29.08): There is now a video for this track. You can view it here. :)
(Track added on 05_21_2008.)
Ah yes...one bright Monday morning, The Bush pissed me off and I wrote this in his honor. I can't call it a pure brap, but it was slammed together so quickly that it sure seemed like one. Ableton Live is pretty cool.
UPDATE! (08.02.08):Newly remastered version! If you downloaded it before this date, you got hosed! Try again for MORE OBELISK! :)
One of the first things I wrote after adding Ableton Live to my arse(heh)nal of sound. Like many of my creations, it was brought together very quickly...all from the heart, tho, babies. All from the heart.
UPDATE! (08.02.08):Newly remastered version! If you downloaded it before this date, you got hosed! Now with MAS AGUA! :)
This is a remix of a track called Methyl Magenta, which I did for my friend Jules, otherwise known as PinkLogik one fine Saturday morning on sudden inspiration. I love the youthful qualities I managed to interject with some random samples from SampleSwap and a whole lotta love.
UPDATE! (08.06.08):Newly remastered version! If you downloaded it before this date, you got gyped! Now with MAXIMUM PINK! :)
Oh, but what a labour of love we have here. The entire track is created under certain rules:
Basically, I played a short and very random passage on a softsynth I love called The Beast. I then did nothing but cut, paste and (drastically) alter pieces of this original passage until I got what you hear. There were planned drums and vocals, but my efforts to Beat It have thus far been thwarted (in favor of leaving it be, experimental as it may be).
UPDATE! (08.02.08):Newly remastered version! If you downloaded it before this date, you got hosed! Try again for FRESHER FELINE! :)
This is made entirely from the sound of cymbals. Made to prove a silly point on SampleSwap. Just fun, nothing more.
For a time, I simply numbered my recordings.
I was only using Audacity to have some captures anyway...
You hear it as I invented it, live as live gets. I think I only picked one actual sound to start with and spent maybe 3 minutes before I started recording and began again.
Pure brappery. I have always preferred to make ambient noise than to listen to it. :)
Made from whole cloth...chose a few sounds and went with it on my ESX-1.
Made from whole cloth...chose a few sounds and went with it on my ESX-1.
This one is a second or third pass at something I made up whole...what I would call a 3rd-gen brap, perhaps.
'Swings' is the first version of this, made-up as I went. The other two are the next passes through after some editing of sounds and such...which I believe followed the next day.
Selections from my 'Snap' phase...
The first two tracks of Snap as captured live one day. Dirty, but fun.
A captured portion of Snap, as it was built. Long and dirty, but fun. :)
A couple of versions of one of my favorite bits of 'Snap'. TripA was a complete 'Snap' performance under, um, pleasant duress. ;) The other is just a favorite capture. Such a fun track to play.
The 'official' last track on my 'Snap' Album...the performance definitely goes beyond that nowadays.
This is an entire performance of 'Snap', with lots of extras. It's almost 100mb, so you have been warned.
I also see it as a reward for getting this far. Ssshh. ;)
Thanks for listening.
